Local Attaractions: St. Paul's Como Park

Located less than a half mile from the Humphrey Job Corps Center is St. Paul's popular Como Park. In fact, Como Park is the most visited park in the Twin Cities metro area. And for good reason. Covering roughly a square mile of some of St. Paul's most beautiful wooded scenery, the park offers something for everyone.

Como Park is famous as The Place to have a picnic. Other recreational opportunities include: A visit to the zoo and kid's amusement park, a round of golf on the park's 18-hole course, a stroll through the lush indoor gardens of the Conservatory, a swim in the public outdoor pool, a concert (or just an ice cream cone) at the Pavilion, to name a few.

At 1.6 miles around, Como Lake's smooth asphalt paths provide a easy escape for walkers, joggers, bicyclists, and rollerbladers to unwind after school and on weekends. And the apple blossoms never disappoint in the spring.
