- Transportation: Emphasizing freight railroad, passenger railroad, airline and ground transportation clerical training
- Micro-Computer Operations: Keyboarding, Word Processing, Spreadsheet, and Data Base Applications

Training is on an open entry/open exit basis and usually takes 6-12 months to complete. This time may be less based on the motivation of the individual trainee.
The Transportation Communications International Union (TCU) maintains a nationwide network of job contacts with major employers in the transportation industry and places trainees in full-time employment within the railroad, airline, and trucking industry. Types of positions trainees are placed on include operations clerks, yard clerks, reservation sales agents, customer service representatives, on board service train attendants, conductor trainees, and other transportation industry positions.
TCU also places students as clerk/typists, data entry operators, word processors, and other office related positions with financial institutions, communications companies and the Federal government.
When a student is job ready, positions are available, and the student desires to apply for the position, TCU arranges for interviews and even accompanies the student to the interview site. If the job requires moving, the TCU Program will even assist the student in relocating.
TCU is dedicated to providing excellent state of the art training in order that our students are able to take advantage of employment opportunities offering top wages, medical benefits, career advancement, and in most cases, educational reimbursement.
