Has your college placed an intern here before?

The Humphrey Job Corps offers internships to undergraduate social science majors and to master's level counseling and social work students. Whether it's an undergraduate or graduate degree being pursued, the goal of a training experience at the Humphrey Job Corps is to provide interns with solid skills and opportunities to help secure a job or further their academic training.

Undergraduate Social Science Internships
Each undergraduate internship will vary according to the interns' strengths and organizational needs. Intern experiences are available in the following areas:

  • Counseling
  • Alcohol and Other Drugs of Abuse (AODA)
  • School-To-Work Process
  • Center Standards

Master's Level Internships
Master's level candidates in counseling and mental health are supervised by the center Mental Health Consultant, Dr. Jeff Gottlieb. Master's level intern experiences are available in the following areas:

  • Individual Therapy and Crisis Intervention
  • Staff Training and Program Development
  • Social Work Internships
