Health and Wellness
One of the best benefits of Job Corps is the comprehensive medical, dental, and eye care coverage that is provided to all students. On staff at the Humphrey Center is a medical doctor, a dentist, a registered nurse (who is the Health Services Manager), two practical nurses, a licensed psychologist who acts as the center's mental health consultant, and an AODA (Alcohol and Other Drugs of Abuse) specialist.

Counseling Services
Individual and group counseling is another feature of the Job Corps program. Upon arrival, each student is assigned to a counselor who acts as the student's advocate for the entire length of stay. Counselors also conduct frequent training for students and staff on such topics as cultural awareness, leadership, stress management, etc.
