Campus Living

Providing a safe and comfortable place for young people to live together is the mission of the Humphrey Job Corps Center's Residential Living Department (a Zero Tolerance Policy for drugs and violence is enforced). Approximately 260 of the 300 students attending the center live in one of two campus dormitories which include male and female honor floors, laundry rooms and social lounge areas.

The Humphrey Job Corps Center has an open campus. Students are permitted to leave the center after training hours and before curfew hours. Recreational activities are provided nightly. Parents are permitted to visit at any time with advaance notice.

In addition to receiving free room and board, all students earn a living allowance while in Job Corps and are eligible for benefits and supportive services such as healthcare and individual and group counseling.
